Messianic Phrophecy

Isaiah 7:13-14
¹³Then Isaiah(’Heb he‘) said: ‘Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary mortals, that you weary my God also? ¹⁴Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Look, the young woman(’Gk the virgin‘) is with child and shall bear a son, and shall name him Immanuel.(’That is God is with us‘)

There are a lot of argument about the young woman(ALMAH) which may mean “the young woman” or “the virgin”.

Isaiah 9:6-7
⁶For a child has been born for us,
a son given to us;
authority rests upon his shoulders;
and he is named
Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
⁷His authority shall grow continually,
and there shall be endless peace
for the throne of David and his kingdom.
He will establish and uphold it
with justice and with righteousness
from this time onwards and for evermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.

1:5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

==> What’s the meaning of light? Is it just light or good? (Maybe you said it means good)

==> How could there evening and morning(day)? You said it’s a god day (6,000 days of people’s world). But I cannot connected the god day with this first day.

1:26 Then God said, ‘Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness;

==> what are “our image” and “our likeness”?

1:27 So God created humankind in his image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.

==> What are ‘his image’, ‘them’? Did God create the people not only a male? Before you said that God made a human. But in this, God created many humans.

2:17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die.

==> Die means you will be die soon or will be die. The first means he will be die naturally and the second means that he would not be die but he will be die.

2:23 This at last is bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
this one shall be called Woman

==> Why use “flesh”? God created woman at this time, then from now on Adam(human) is called as male? This means there was no baby before? Then how about “his father and his mother” from 2:24?

2:24 Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and clings to his wife, and they become one flesh.

==> Was there already human mother and human father?
